Put your worries aside on how difficult it is to find a good guild or arena team. Blizzard is making “The Armory” available to its players where massive updated database packed with information, arena teams and characters are taken from real-time servers and displayed in user-friendly interface. The armory is the most comprehensive and up-to-date database on the character, arena teams and existing guilds of World of Warcraft.

Achievements and Statistics

Players can now view their achievements and statistics on Armory character profiles. These new pages appear and function quite similar to their corresponding interface in-game. It supports an expandable view to compare achievements and statistics between multiple characters or up to four characters even across all realms. This feature is possible by simply clicking the tab labeled “Add Character to Compare” found at the top right of the Achievements or Statistics interface. Type and enter the name and realm of the character you desire to view and compare to the one you are currently viewing. The portrait and achievements of the second character will then appear next to the original one. You can add multiple characters in this manner, and can compare up to four characters at one time. You can navigate between categories or subcategory names on the left side of the menu.

Armory Design Changes

The main Armory page has been updated with a new, more streamlined look. A news feed shows recent Armory news and region-first achievements. After you log in, the news fee also displays realm-first achievements on the main character’s realm look. It gives convenience by keeping your logins that persist for two weeks, the ability to bookmark multiple character profiles, a news feed on the front page, and many more. Even when you closed the armory window no longer logs out of the Armory itself. Drop-down menus under the main search field direct you to common search categories from Arena rewards of a particular season to items from trade skills such as gems and glyphs just to name a few.

Character, icons and talents

The Armory now supports death knight characters, icons, and talents. You can find special death knight items or (sigils) in the items search. The expansion’s new PvP rewards are now listed in the item database. You’ll encounter many new faces on your epic journey in Northrend and view these new factions in the Armory. Miscellaneous items namely Emblems of Valor rewards, Emblems of Heroism rewards and Heirlooms are all now viewable in the Armory as well.

Next time, your friends don’t believe you when you proudly share tales about your super hard to get shield, have them check out your character out for themselves with the aid of “The Armory” and watch their jaws drop.
