The much anticipated second expansion of World of Warcraft is finally here. Blizzard Entertainment unveils another epic episode in the world of gaming - Wrath of the Lich King.
Life on Azeroth is threatened as Lich King Arthas Menethil marks his evil scheme to lead it to extinction. Brave the new harsh continent of Northrend and engage in a warfare to end the Lich King’s reign of terror, and battle armies of the undead and the necromantic power of plague attempting to conquer the land. Among the exciting new features of the second expansion are to master World of Warcraft’s first Hero class and achieve level 80 as well as potent new abilities and talents. Explore dangerous new dungeons full of the deadliest creatures and greatest treasures on Azeroth. Discover the craft of spell augmentation with the new Inscription profession. Modify your hero’s look with new character-customization options not limited to hairstyles and dances and much, much more.
Wrath of the Lich King will hit stores on November 13 in North America, Europe, Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Russia, and on November 14 in Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia. Also available in Korea and regions in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau on November 18. The launch timing for China will be announced at a later date.
Wrath of Lich King will come in both standard edition and special Collector’s edition (in selected areas).
