Welcome to Wrath King - the Wrath of the Lich King blog.

We will be following all of the news and action related to Blizzard Entertainment’s upcoming World of Warcraft expansion pack Wrath of the Lich King.

Here’s the quick rundown in case you aren’t yet familiar with Wrath of the Lich King:

• Wrath of the Lich King introduces the continent of Northrend to the World of Warcraft universe.
• A new class is being added - the Death Knight. This is World of Warcraft’s first Hero class.
• The level cap is being raised from 70 to 80, so expect all of your epic loot to pale in comparison to level 72 greens.
• Inscription is being added as a new profession.

And of course, there is tons of new content planned, including new dungeons and raid encounters.

Here at Wrath King, we’ll cover everything known about all of these topics and more in the coming weeks and months, and when the game launches we’ll be there with you racing from 70 to 80 and leveling our new Death Knights.
